ARAN and CIWF Protest Outside the Dpt of Agriculture

Ban Irish Fur Farms!
Demo Report

On the 30th of January, more than 50 activists gathered to protest outside the department of Agriculture.

The aim of the demo was to demand the ban on irish fur farms in the next Animal Welfare Bill.

Two megaphones were used to voice our disgust and a body screen showed footage of animals being skinned for their fur.

In Ireland , up to 170,000 mink, arctic and silver fox are caged and killed at around 6 month old. The fur farms obtain a yearly license from the department of agriculture.

We would like to thank ARAN and CIWF for organising this demo which was quite successful.
